The technology in the F-150 is already cutting edge, but the trucks can get smarter. The next innovative step might include protecting creditors by allowing remote access to vehicles. As a result, your models or others may automatically go away if they are restored.
Ford F-150 has an independent recall patent
Hopefully, people will be willing to make payments when they buy cars like. However, life can often disrupt your planes. Things like economic slowdowns and unexpected financing may happen.

Can the F-150 drive itself?
The answer to this question is somewhat. With Ford BlueCruise or Active Drive Assist. Allows you to navigate hands-free while in areas covered by Blue Zones. It includes more than 130,000 miles of North American roads.
It relies on intelligent adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, lane centering, and speed signal recognition to allow you to operate hands-free. The system monitors drivers with a camera to ensure they are paying attention to the road.
The self-recovery patent is intended to build on this technology with Level 2 and Level 3 self-driving capabilities, which will likely be available in the future anyway.
It would allow the creditor to remotely command the Ford F-150 to drive to a safer area or easier to get to a tow truck. According to MotorTrend, it can even return the car directly to the creditor.
This may benefit creditors if the vehicles are stored on private property or in hard-to-reach areas.
The patent includes a contingency system that calculates how much the owner owes the car and how much it will cost to tow and resell. If it counts as a loss, the car can be directed to drive itself to a junkyard or junkyard.
When can the F-150 repo itself?
The self-recovery system is only patentable, so it could be years before the Mustang Mach-E Explorer, Expedition, or other vehicles receive the technology. Ford may not move forward with this project.
