GM has done an admirable job with this specific demographic. If you are interested in luxury and premium features, chances are you will shop the GMC brand. But, if you’re in need of a basic work truck, you can’t go wrong with a new Chevy.

Accordingly, GM’s full-size trucks managed to outpace Ford and Ram trucks. The Chevrolet Silverado is definitely an iconic pickup. But it might be a little surprising to learn that in the second quarter of 2022, it managed to outpace the Ford F-150.
At the same time, GM truck sales are back where they were in the past. And the Chevrolet Silverado continues to be a hotter truck than the GMC Sierra.
When it comes to how you spend your money, the best way to decide which truck is right for you is to try it out for yourself. That is if you can find new models. The auto industry is still subject to supply chain constraints, as is the rest of the world.
