General Motors offered the same features and options in the mechanically identical 2018 GMC Sierra 1500. The 2018 Silverado was also the last year of the third-generation pickup truck (4th generation Sierra), and thus is yet another reliable and affordable truck in the used pickup market.
2017 Toyota Tundra

Meanwhile, US News deemed the truck’s technology a bit outdated and only gave it an overall score of 7.2/10.
The 2017 Toyota Tundra is a bit notable because it was the first year to offer Blind Spot Monitoring on some models. Toyota offered the truck with a 4.6-liter V8 or a 5.7-liter V8, both paired with a six-speed automatic. The larger engine produces 381 horsepower.
Overall, Toyota built the second generation Tundra from 2007 through 2021, with a major update in 2014.
