Expect a New F-150 Lightning in late 2025

It’s hard to believe we’re actually talking about the 2026 model year. However, Ford is following an update schedule which means the next update should come in late 2025 for the 2025 models. Today, the Ford F-150 Lightning makes 580 horsepower with the extended battery pack. But newer trucks on the horizon mean Ford will likely have to boost its horsepower to compete with newer EV trucks from Ram, Chevy, and GMC.
