While the Pathfinder is an affordable option that can go off-road, it’s overshadowed by the competition. The Pathfinder scored well, but the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration did not rate it.
These budget SUVs with three rows may not check all the boxes, but each one has plenty of features that are favorable for budget-conscious buyers. Modern vehicles will be safer thanks to more stringent safety standards and technologies that didn’t exist in 2010, but these will get you from point A to point B on time and under budget.
