When buyers were consulted about the , most would not buy the luxury SUV again. Consumer Reports uses its Annual Auto Survey to determine how well a vehicle lives up to its promises. While the GLA is still a good option for some buyers, it falls short in the areas of reliability and owner satisfaction.
It received pretty middling reviews for a luxury compact SUV. More than a quarter of buyers said the 2023 QX50 wouldn’t be worth buying again. Consumer Reports says the Infiniti has a quiet, roomy cabin finished with quality materials. However, the engine used in the QX50 offers no performance or fuel economy. Along with a slew of confusing controls, the 2023 Infiniti QX50 leaves a lot to be desired. While it landed on the list of least satisfying luxury SUVs for 2023, there’s hope for next year’s QX50.
The luxury compact SUV segment is quite full of good options. The Infiniti could be a good option for brand-loyal buyers or those looking to get into a brand-new SUV for under $58,000. The 2023 Acura RDX has a similar price and better owner reviews for equivalent small SUVs.

Don’t get too excited about the Mercedes-Benz GLB
What does it have to offer buyers? As far as compact luxury SUVs go, the GLB has a well-appointed interior and good fuel economy. Its boxy look might not be for everyone, but it’s a good option between the small GLA and the larger GLC.
The GLB hasn’t been on the market for a long time, but it hasn’t proven itself yet. Buyers report a number of issues in the first year of ownership that don’t contribute to a stress-free experience. Add to that the high starting price, and it’s clear why the GLB is one of the least satisfying luxury SUVs of 2023.
