The 2023 Toyota Tacoma Has More Than Double the Available Trims of Rivals

Why does the 2023 Toyota Tacoma have so many options?

The main reason the Taco, Tundra, and all other trucks have so many options is largely due to the fact that the site counts every cab-and-bed configuration as a trim option.

Many trucks have a variety, with the crew cab and regular cab being staples for most trucks. Vans also tend to have a few bed options, often ranging from a short bed, a regular bed, or a long bed.

Toyota gave the Tacoma a choice of a smaller cabin with a 6-foot bed, or a larger cabin with a 5-foot bed. The site has also calculated engine options, and Toyota offers two. There is a standard 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine and a 3.5-liter V6 engine. Then there are the actual trim levels, and each trim level can be customized in terms of cab, bed and engine options.

The Japanese auto giant currently offers seven trim levels for the truck, ranging from standard SR trim to premium trims like. When all of these different configurations are added, the Taco ultimately comes with 34 options.
