CR recommendation for the Ram 1500 based on the Automotive Reliability Survey
The Ram 1500 has a well-deserved reputation for reliability, durability and quality. He recognized these qualities in his annual Automotive Reliability Survey, which he uses to create his list of recommendations. The CR recommended 2022 Ram 1500, and following the results of the most recent Automotive Reliability Survey, the recommendation is effective for 2023.
For the Automotive Reliability Survey, Consumer Reports analyzed 17 potential problems over the previous year. Owners have submitted surveys to over 300,000 vehicles. Some examples of problem areas include engines, electrical systems, paint, leaks, and brakes. The Ram 1500 is very reliable in potential trouble spots, so the pickup retained its CR recommendation in 2023.
