What is the Ford Maverick Tremor package?
The Tremor package is an option on the 2023 Maverick that adds some off-road goodies. As a pickup truck, you might think the Maverick wouldn’t be good on the road, but it could prove you wrong. It comes with a one-inch lift, improved four-wheel drive and skid plates.
It even comes with a torque vectoring rear differential and all-terrain tires. This should help you out on the road if you want to go on some adventures.
Finding Maverick Quake in 2023 won’t be easy
If you’re looking to buy a 2023 Ford Maverick Tremor, you might be out of luck. When Ford opened the buy orders, it looked like the blue oval had to close them immediately. Simply put, the Ford minivan is very popular.
If you can find one at an agency, it will probably have a markup on it. This is because people are willing to pay the sticker price for this compact little car. Even people who manage to place an order can feel clueless about the condition of their Ford Maverick. Understandably, this can be very frustrating. Especially if you’re waiting for the 2022 model.
Is the Maverick an off-road truck?
According to Maverick Tremor, you should be able to handle basic off-road. This pickup won’t be capable of something like the Jeep Wrangler, but that’s not really the point. The Maverick is meant to be practical enough for everyday use while offering the utility of a pickup truck bed.
At the same time, with the Tremor and FX4 Off-Road packages, you can get some extra capability on the road less traveled. The Tremor package will cost you an additional $2,995. For the price, this seems to be fairly reasonable.
If you want your pickup truck to stand out, even more, you can choose the Tremor special appearance package. But this will come at an additional cost. It won’t make your truck more capable, so it might not be worth it for most people.
Overall, it doesn’t look like a winner. After all, why should off-road adventures be reserved for full-size trucks? It’s good to see the blue oval gives consumers more options to do so.
