The second category offers a cost-effective way to slip into one of the brand’s beloved sedans. Also, for fans of the baby Bimmer, BMW made sure there were options, from the entry-level to the fast M240i xDrive. If the latest second-series cars look like 2022 models, they’ll perform. Either way, here’s what we know so far about the upcoming 2023 BMW 2 Series.

Has BMW 2 Series production stopped?

BMW fans can rest assured that the brand is just right to keep the second series going. The kit includes four trims with two different engines, including a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and a more powerful 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine. Of course, if a tight sports coupe isn’t for you, BMW offers the 2-Series Gran Coupe with four doors. Furthermore, the Gran Coupe is available in either the 228i or the M235i, with its 301-horsepower four-cylinder engine.

Through testing, the previous year’s M240i xDrive hit 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds, faster than one with the same B58.

How much does a BMW 2 Series 2023 cost?

The entry level 2, 228i, starts around $37,595. However, if you want the less-trimmed coupe, you’ll have to get the 230i, which starts around $1,000 higher. If you want a 2023 BMW 2 Series with AWD, the 230i xDrive is a solid choice at around $40395. According to Gran Coupe, the 301-horsepower M235i starts at $47,395.

However, if you want the M240i topping the range, you’re looking at an amount that starts around $48,895. It could be worth it, though. With its Toyota GR Supra-beating acceleration, BMW badge, and the M240i xDrive is undoubtedly the king of the current 2 Series.

When can I order a BMW 2 Series M240i 2023?

BMW announced the updated 2023 BMW 2 Series cars in November of 2021. However, potential owners should be able to purchase their 2023 2 Series cars soon. However, many BMW fans are eagerly awaiting the upcoming M2 and M2 competition. Previous M2s were track-ready driver’s cars with an abundance of charm.

The BMW 2 Series Coupe is taut and sharp in the M240i xDrive.

Should you be thinking about it?

The 2 Series is a multi-tool when it comes to BMW cars. It offers Coupe and Gran Coupe, 2-Series four-door for added practicality. On top of that, the baby Bimmer has the option of xDrive AWD across trim levels and body types. Finally, if you want a Series 2 that would shy away from almost any other coupe on the street, the sharpie is a serious performance car in a reasonable suit.
