The Tundra isn’t the most popular full-size truck, but it has a lot to offer. In retrospect, I’ve been impressed with the comfortable ride and the way the engine behaves. This truck may lack a V8, but the base version’s twin-turbo 3.4-liter V6 delivers 12,000 pounds of towing capacity.
It is worth noting that the Toyota half-ton truck is new and has been redesigned. So, at this point, it looks fairly recent. A hybrid version of the V6 engine is also available, but it reduces the maximum towing capacity.
1.2023 Ford F-150
The Ford F-150 is usually the best-selling car in the United States. Accordingly, it can tow up to 14,000 lbs. Because of that, it can tow the other two trucks mentioned on this list.
If you want maximum towing capacity, you’ll need to opt for the 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6. It delivers 500 lb-ft of torque, which helps make towing easier. With the range of trims and configurations that the F-150 offers, there is likely to be one that will meet your lifestyle needs.
