Kelley Blue Book says to watch out for sunroofs if you’re looking for the best SUVs for tall people. Andy Bornhop says, “The sunroofs are awful for headroom.” So even if you try something and then order it with a sunroof, it might not offer enough headroom.
Don’t overlook the midsize Hyundai Santa Fe
Even though it’s a midsize SUV, it has 41.2 inches of front legroom and 44.1 inches of legroom. It received an update in 2021 and has a spacious cabin. An 8.8-inch touchscreen makes navigating the infotainment system easy, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto can be used wirelessly.
Standard safety features include forward collision warning with low-speed emergency braking, lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control and high beam assist. The choice for trim if base still gets 28 highway mpg from the 2.5-liter engine.
The best SUVs for tall people have enough headroom, legroom, and adjustable features to provide a comfortable fit. It would also be helpful to have adjustable seats so that others can ride comfortably in another position. Some SUVs may surprise you with how little space is actually available inside. These options won’t do that, though!
