What comes standard with the 2024 Subaru Outback?
2024 starts with an MSRP of $28,895. The 2023 model starts at $28,395, so that’s only a $500 bump. Option packs are the same price as last year, with a few more goodies.

Is it worth upgrading to the Outback Wilderness?
The 2024 update brings the price up to $39,960, but increases ground clearance to . The off-road optimized suspension has longer shocks and springs to increase suspension travel.
Plus, you get rugged Yokohama GEOLANDER off-road tires with a dual-purpose full-size stock X-MODE with a low-ratio setting, front skid plate, and 180-degree front monitor.
The upgraded luggage rack increases its capacity by 700 pounds, and the interior features a water-resistant finish. It is well equipped to conquer the wilderness. If you like the way it looks, go for it.
It’s a good start, but we’d like to see more skid plates, a two-speed transfer case, trailer hitches and lockable differentials. Additionally, rivals have 360-degree trail cameras.
Overall, not much has changed for the 2024 Subaru Outback, but the Wilderness looks a little better and more standard features are included.
