Meta Introduces Professional Mode For Facebook Profiles
A new professional mode for Facebook Profiles allows users to make money using features that were previously exclusive to Facebook Pages.
In addition, Facebook Pages are getting new capabilities that were only available through the Facebook Business Suite and third-party apps.

Facebook Profile Updates – New Pro Mode
The new Professional mode for Facebook profiles in the US includes revenue opportunities and insights into content performance.
New ways to make money
The first monetization option available with Facebook’s Pro mode is the Reels Play rewards program.
This allows eligible Creators to earn revenue based on qualified Reels.
The program is currently invite-only, but interested users can fill out a Sign the form To be notified when it is more widely available.
Besides the ability to earn money from reels posted on Facebook, the format is getting several upgrades such as:
- Compose a video by selecting several clips
- Save a reel as a draft to finish creating a reel at a later time
- Extended duration 60 seconds with a 60 second reel
Facebook plans to expand Reels to more countries next year.
Features from pages come to profiles
Professional mode Makes Facebook profiles more like pages.
With this mode activated, anyone can follow and see your public content on their feed without sending you a friend request.
However, you will still control who can see the content in individual posts.
With every post you make, you can choose whether it goes public or if it’s only visible to friends.
This is being tested with a limited number of profiles starting today in the US, with plans to expand to more users soon.
Professional mode will be available in more countries in the coming months, and more tools will be added including more monetization options.
New features for Facebook Pages
Facebook pages get a file Professional dashboarda central site for admins to review page performance and access tools and insights.
In a limited test, some admins will see a new module at the top of their page feed that provides a snapshot of a post’s share and follower count.
The new module may also offer tips on how to create high-performance content.
Finally, Facebook tests a file Another author has been updated For pages that offer a variety of builder-focused features.
Initial testing will include the ability to schedule posts, previously only available through the Facebook Business Suite.
With this update, it is now possible for administrators to schedule posts regardless of their current workflow and what tool or application they are using.
