Google’s Performance Planner for Google Ads gets four updates to help users plan multiple campaigns, make thoughtful changes, and more.
The Performance Mapper is designed to simplify the strategizing process for campaigns by providing insight into how specific changes will affect key metrics and overall performance.
You can use the performance chart to estimate clicks, conversions, and conversion values for Search, Shopping, Display, App, and Local campaigns.
With the updates that are being rolled out now, you can do just that even more with this tool.
It’s now possible to add previously unqualified Google Ads campaigns to your performance plans, understand why Google recommended certain changes, estimate secondary metrics, and more.

What’s new in the Google Ads Performance Chart?
The latest updates to the Google Ads Performance Chart will allow you to:
- Add more campaignsPreviously unqualified campaigns can now be added to your plan using historical performance or adding manual predictions across your entire account. These include campaigns that have been deleted, have been running less than 10 days ago, or are in draft status.
- Understand the recommendations: Google will provide more detailed recommendations in a new column titled “Proposed Changes”.
- secondary metricsUnderstand the impact of changes to your campaigns beyond key metrics. For example, if you created a plan to maximize conversions, you can now add a column showing changes to clicks.
- Choose the date range: Use the historical conversation rate for a specific date range to get a more accurate estimate of what to expect for the date range you use in your plan.
