3 Pros and 3 Cons of Driving a 2022 Nissan Rogue Platinum Every Day
3 Pros and 3 Cons of Driving a 2022 Nissan Rogue Platinum Every Day We’re spending some quality time with Platinum 2022 and find there’s a lot to like about it. However, while there are plenty of pluses to driving a Rogue every day, there are a few negatives. This is what we’ve found so far.
3 Pros and 3 Cons of Driving a 2022 Nissan Rogue Platinum Every Day
Pro: The 2022 Nissan Rogue features a spacious, comfortable interior
Getting in and out of the Rogue 2022 is a breeze as the ride height and roofline provide a wide opening for entry and exit. There’s also plenty of head and legroom for front and rear seat passengers and ample storage space. We enjoyed the soft semi-aniline leather seat surfaces, and the reclining rear seat is a plus.
That makes 201 horsepower and 225 pound-feet of torque. These numbers may not mean much to the average buyer, but just know that the engine provides plenty of traffic when needed and is powerful enough to spur the car up to highway speeds.
Pros: There are handy storage solutions around the cabin and cargo area
We like to pack light whenever we go on trips, but it’s a good thing the 2022 Rogue has plenty of storage solutions when needed. There are storage boxes in the doors and under the center console. There’s an open box split on the console itself, too. And when it comes to storing merchandise, a configurable storage system can hide and place things well.
Cons: There is little road noise at different speeds
3 Pros and 3 Cons of Driving a 2022 Nissan Rogue Platinum Every Day
While the cabin of the Nissan Rogue is quiet while driving, we did detect some road noise at all speeds. We attribute it to 19-inch wheels on the platinum trim level, where bigger wheels can equate to more noise. Fortunately, it’s not loud and can easily drown out with the Bose sound system.
Con: Wireless charger works intermittently
That’s a small thing to complain about, but if you’re the type who likes to charge their phone via a wireless charger, you might be disappointed. We found the Rogue’s wireless charger to work intermittently instead of staying on as it should. It might be a problem specific to our test car, but it’s something to note, considering we can use the charger every day.
Cons: Although the Rogue’s engine is great, its acceleration is a bit lazy
While we can’t praise the new Nissan Rogue’s engine enough when it comes to its power, we have to admit that it’s lazy to accelerate. It may be due to the XTRONIC CVT in the car, but we’re not sure. If anything, you just have to depress the accelerator pedal more firmly.
Pros and Cons of Driving a 2022 Nissan Rogue Every Day
Overall, we found the Nissan Rogue 2022 a comfortable and powerful driver every day. Although it has some minor flaws, they are nothing compared to the benefits that this small SUV brings to the table.
