It looks like she has a hit on her hands with the F-150 Lightning. Owners who recently managed to acquire the coveted truck were asked for their opinions. Here’s a look at what its owners liked most about it.

Each year, it sends out a survey to thousands of car owners asking how they feel about their new car. In order to qualify for the survey, owners must be verified that they actually own their vehicle, and they must have owned their vehicle for at least 90 days.

What Ford F-150 Lightning owners love most about their electric truck
On the other hand, Lightning owners liked how safe they felt when they drove the vehicle. This is not surprising, because the Ford truck is large and offers some safety features. Ford also gave the Lightning plenty of smart safety features, which should help prevent accidents.
Owners also loved the truck’s interior, as well as its powertrain and driving feel. The two get two electric motors as standard, and they make 452 horsepower and 775 pound-feet of torque.
Owners can upgrade their electric truck’s output to 580 horsepower, too. Even without this upgrade, the standard Lightning can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds. That’s pretty quick acceleration for a full-size pickup, so it’s no surprise that owners enjoy this aspect of the electric pickup.
The one that F-150 Lightning owners loved the most, though, was its exterior design. This is a difficult area to judge, as most people cannot agree on what looks good or doesn’t look good. But in the case of Lightning trucks and electric trucks in general, this actually makes a lot of sense.
It makes sense that the exterior design is on top
Many potential car owners will shop with their eyes, as few people would want to buy an unattractive car. This makes the Exterior Design class an important class to do well, but it’s interesting that Lightning did well while looking very natural. In fact, this could be an intentional decision by Ford, since it’s one of the few electric trucks they’re known for today.
The Cybertruck has a unique look, and it certainly looks different than any other truck option on the market. Rather than do something like that, Ford chose to make the Lightning’s appearance nearly identical to the regular F-150. As such, the Lightning offers owners a truck that’s stylish and familiar and also fully electric.
