TikTok Trends Right Now: Fall 2022

And there are more 136.5 million users In the US alone, you should consider sharing as part of your social media strategy.

Easier said than done because trends come and go quickly.

So how do you do that?

While the easy-to-use platform makes it easy for any user to create or live stream a video, it’s hard to stand out with great content that truly connects with your target audience.

The good news is that it’s easy to look for inspiration TikTok Corporate Creative Hub, Although it may take a good few hours to search for a 15-second clip that might be right for you.

The bad news is that you don’t want to waste hours of your life on the app and indulge in fun but insensitive videos that don’t align with your brand identity.

Browsing through multiple hashtags can be overwhelming, especially if you are new to the app.

Not to mention, TikTok periodically changes the features of its platform (like how Remove the Discover tab and try the Friends tab), leaving social media marketers and casual users everywhere indignant.

Since I’m having an embarrassing time on TikTok, I’ve done the work for you and rounded up my top five trends for this fall and beyond.

Note: This list will be updated periodically, so keep this checklist of the top five hottest trends in the US at the peak of their popularity.

Trend #1: It’s corn!

This trend involves pairing what has become known as the “It’s an Atom” soundtrack with something you love (or your brand), using text to list the things you love about it.

You can use it to show your brand: an icon, a product or an activity.

Check out this example of using “branding” this trend with the Type tool.

Trend #2: Cool Kids (Quick Release)

The trend revolves around a higher-pitched version of the popular Echosmith tune, with creators showcasing unusual (yet interesting and ambitious) DIY hacks or nostalgic finds.

This hugely popular audio clip works with just about any behind-the-scenes glimpse into your everyday life, from recipes to tutorials and makeover videos—as long as it has that weird, Loving energy.

It’s also often paired with the text “younger would lose her mind if she saw how I look today,” which can be great for beauty and similar brands.

Trend #3: I’m putting a spell on you

This TikTok trend is back! This includes showing off DIY gadgets or Halloween tricks (and tricks) in preparation for Halloween to a soundtrack from Working with Lemons “I Put a Spell on You.”

(Fun fact: Working with Lemons is an American musical family based in Utah.)

This charming soundtrack can help you make your brand stand out with creative decor and fashion ideas.

Using text-to-speech or plain text work together.

To make it more interesting for your viewers, if you’re doing a Halloween costume tutorial, work your way up from a regular outfit to a full Halloween makeover by the time the song, “Hey, Salem!” Play.

It’s also a great choice for local brands to showcase the many specialty items you can make from scratch featuring retail items, such as ceramics and dark-colored candles.

Trend #4: J’s Lullaby

This trend involves storytelling of the creators using a whispered lullaby paired with a gentle acoustic guitar that warms the hearts of the viewers. They usually contain activities related to wedding or a love story, so this is a good opportunity to show the emotional side of your brand.

It doesn’t have to be romantic either. Anything from relaying customer testimonials privately to working for your brand in its community will fit into this audio clip.

Being vulnerable can pay off and get more people to relate to your brand, so go ahead and share a human interest story or cause you’re 100% supportive of.

You can also use this clip for a story where you made a nice surprise gift to say thank you to your biggest fans or loyal customers.

Trend #5: Labor Day weekend

That’s right: Labor Day weekend in the US has come and gone

But we included this trend anyway, as it could become very repeatable or revived when everyone is enjoying a long weekend.

This trend includes recording and lip-syncing the activities of the Labor Day weekend with the lyrics to “Something Like That”. The first few lines of Tim McGraw’s hit work seamlessly with any action you’d like to feature.

Many TikTokers have seen fit to pump up their cars with petrol and show off their site’s own family traditions.

Bonus points if grill stains appear while spending quality time with the family.

This should pair well with family oriented food and brands.

It can take a lot of trial and error (plus time) to research what really works for your style, so if none of these things work, we recommend going back to the drawing board and learning how to use TikTok search to keep up and grow your brand.
