The most substantial update for the 2024 GLB is under the hood. According to , the crossover retains its turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine. However, the new model adds a 48-volt hybrid system. It’s a mild hybrid setup aimed at helping with acceleration with an additional 13 horsepower. For car and driver, it also allows the GLB 2024 to coast with the engine off.
