Can’t Afford a Toyota Land Cruiser? Go For the Weibo Mini Land Cruiser Instead

Look, we know some of these and automakers push the boundaries of design rights. But let’s put that thought aside for a moment and take a look at the absurd, yet unnatural attraction to Kuluze Weibo. We’ve never heard of Kuluze and can’t find anything on the interweb that gives us a clue, but there is this physical manifestation of his intentions.

So what is the Kuluze Weibo SUV?

Our friends from did some digging and found more than just Kuluze’s offerings, which really needs some promotion. Searching the , he found that Kuluze makes automotive lighting of all types. If you’ve ever been to the SEMA Show or other automotive supplier gatherings, you know these lighting companies.

for the Land Cruiser. Because the aspect ratio is what it is, the beltline is much higher and the wheelbase is proportionately shorter. And those tiny wheels and tires almost give it a toy look. It even has kickup on the rear side windows that match the Land Cruiser. The same goes for the rear, only thicker and taller.

The other thing it could be is an aftermarket conversion like a lot of those vans we see in Japan. They take an existing vehicle and mimic popular vehicles while giving the vehicle a modern-retro look. The original VW Microbus vans are a popular conversion. So are the Chevrolet trucks of the 60s and 70s. Go figure.

Perusing the Weibo images, one can barely see a transverse engine housing behind the rear axle. So this indicates that this is a rear wheel drive vehicle with limited horsepower. To speculate, we’re thinking maybe 10 to 15hp. This begs the question: is this a product with intent to produce or is it just a fancy display device for your lighting stuff?

But maybe it’s something else. Maybe it’s just a fancy four-door golf cart. A golf cart to match your full size Toyota Land Cruiser. Matchy-matchy.
