Midsize hybrid sedans don’t come cheap. However, the 2023 Camry SE Hybrid Nightshade won’t break your budget. This trim level is a Special Edition, but it costs less than $35,000. Specifically, Toyota has given the Camry SE Hybrid a starting MSRP of $30,890. Even with the $1,095 destination fee, you’re looking to spend about $31,985.

2023 Toyota Camry Hybrid vs. 2022 Honda Accord Hybrid: Which Sedan Is More Fuel Efficient?

Although the appearance is better than previous generations, some may consider it boring. That’s why we recommend checking out the Nightshade trim level, as it accents the Camry’s look with its 19-inch bronze TRD wheels, a black front grille with mesh inserts, black mirror caps, and a rear spoiler.

Despite the “killer” treatment, the Camry Nightshade trim level can be chosen with a few different paint schemes. Our tester wore the automaker’s signature blue (navy blue) tank color, which we wouldn’t normally think would match the bronze wheels. But alas, the combination of colors really works well.

The 2023 Toyota Camry SE Hybrid might be the look for you

If you’re shopping for a midsize sedan, there’s no better option than the 2023 Toyota Camry. At this point, we’d recommend buying the gas-saving hybrid model, and the Nightshade package only sweetens the deal.
