The longest potential lifespan list has many options from brands you’ve come to expect, such as Toyota and Honda. However, there are no vehicles on the SUV list that can last 200,000 miles or more. What made the list and where are all the Jeeps?
SUVs that can last 200,000 miles have many options from Toyota
Experts looked at the sales of more than two million vehicles sold for at least 10 of the past 20 years to find which SUVs can last. The usual suspects are in the top spots, the Toyota Sequoia and Toyota Land Cruiser. iSeeCars has found that the Sequoia has the potential to last 296,509 miles or more. That means there are some Sequoias on the road with more than 300,000 miles and some that haven’t made it that long.
specifically, it found that approximately 1 percent of Wranglers on the road had 200,000 miles or more. The segment average stands at 0.9 percent for small SUVs, which means Wrangler is still above average.
The studio had some stipulations, such as being on sale for half of the last 20 years and being beaten by other vehicles. There’s also a big chance that the Jeeps were sold more than 20 years ago.
Which Jeep will last the longest?
iSeeCars found the Jeep Wrangler to be arguably the longest-running SUV in the lineup. About 0.9% of SUVs on the road have more than 200,000 miles on the odometer, which is right on par with the average.
However, iSeeCars isn’t the only source for finding SUVs that can last more than 200,000 miles. There are probably a lot of Jeep Wranglers, Grand Cherokees, Compasses, and even Renegades with 200,000 miles or more.
