Land Rover Discovery exceeds expectations

The Land Rover Discovery took home the ‘Residual Value Award’ in the three-row luxury SUV category. The 2023 model currently retails for $58,400 and can be had for $77,800. This trim has extravagant extras like a center console cooler and heated third-row seats, as well as a 355-hp turbo-six engine.

While the dimensions of the third row are small compared to some rivals in the segment, the first two rows offer generous legroom. You can also fold down the third row and configure 60/40 split folding seats in the second row from the central touchscreen.

Discovery offers an impressive maximum cargo capacity of over 74 cubic feet, or 45 cubic feet if you leave the second row upright.

The Range Rover Evoque retains its value

The Range Rover Evoque has surpassed every other luxury small car in terms of resale value. While the base S trim is currently sold out on Land Rover’s website, it has an MSRP of $46,000. While more affordable than other basic Land Rover trims, singular options like Meridian sound systems and moonroofs cost more.

A fully loaded Evoque HST usually costs $57,000. This trim has a 296hp turbo-four engine, while each of the others has a turbo-four generating 246hp.
