When we looked at the best full-size trucks for the money, the Toyota Tundra checked all the boxes. Starting at about $55,936 new and coming with a potential life of 256,022 miles, the Tundra costs just $218 per 1,000 miles. iSeeCars found that the average full-size truck costs about $253 per 1,000 miles.

. It’s the best full-size truck on iSeeCars’ list, the most reliable, and now, the Tundra is the best full-size truck for the money that can also go up to 200,000 miles. About 3.7% of all Tundras on the road have reached 200,000 miles or more, which isn’t a bad statistic.

Nissan Titan is one of the best trucks for the money

On different listings, it’s pretty average. iSeeCars placed it fourth on their list of most reliable full-size trucks, but it ranked fifth on their list of the best full-size trucks for the money. That’s because it costs about $237.07 for 1,000 miles and still has a lifespan of 233,295 miles.

About 2.3% of all Nissan Titan trucks on the road have 200,000 miles or more on their odometer. Regular maintenance such as changing the oil, flushing coolant, brakes, and tires can keep your vehicle running at its best. This is especially important for full-size trucks or those that regularly haul heavy loads.

That’s more than the segment average and more than some common small cars. With a high ISC Quality Score of 8.2, the Chevy truck earned High Reliability, Value Retention, and Safety scores.

The Ford F-150 and Ram 1500 are also on the list, albeit a little more expensive. A Ford F-150 would cost $251.06 for 1,000 miles, while a Ram would come in at $270.50. However, all of these large pickup trucks made the list and offer plenty of value. A full-size van will be more affordable all around, but it’s also one of the most capable passenger cars available.
