As the name implies, it was based on the Escalade platform. The first-generation Escalade EXT lasted from 2002 to 2006 and came with a 5-foot truck bed, though the automaker offered options that included an 8-foot bed.

To build the second-generation Escalade EXT, the Detroit automaker gave the truck a new exterior, too. However, the automaker struggled during the Great Recession, and Caddy’s truck was killed soon after by poor sales.

On average, buyers paid about $11,000 for a used 2009 Escalade. This is a very reasonable price considering what the truck offers drivers. This model year came to the Caddy truck with one engine, a 6.2-liter V8 with 403 horsepower. This powerful engine allowed the truck to tow up to 7,600 lbs.

However, the best part about the Caddy truck was. It didn’t have many technical features compared to modern cars, but its interior was described as “luxurious” and “top-notch” by US News. The truck also offered leather upholstery and some tech features, such as remote start capability.
