Consumer Reports 10 Most Satisfying Vehicles For 2023

, as always, leads the way in accessing all aspects of vehicle ownership. It just released a list of the most satisfying vehicles to own for 2023. This isn’t about the problems owners face, it’s. With more choice and competition, this becomes more difficult for automakers.

So here are the top 10 as you select them:

Already under its belt, Dodge knows what to offer Dodge Challenger buyers. But the owners know what they’re getting, too. A powerful coupe that smokes tires with enduring style and plenty of power, which, for some, hits that sweet spot.

9. Mazda MX-5 Miata

The Miata is another car whose owners really know what they’re getting. The two-seater sports car isn’t for everyone, but for those who love it, it strikes a balance. Handling, power, comfort and price make the Miata successful.

8. Toyota RAV4 Prime

Consumer hit parade, and Toyota sweetened the RAV4 on several iterations. That, and the expected high quality and reliability remind owners of that every time they drive. Decent power and internal capacity don’t hurt either.

7. Toyota/Subaru BRZ86

In some ways, the BRZ86 has similar buyers to the Miata, but with less of a legacy to back it up. Sort of a fastback 2 + 2 Miata, if you will. The impressive performance and good looks are impressive for a platform it shares with the Subaru Forester and Crosstrek.

6. Polestar 2

This landing on Consumer Report’s Most Satisfying Compounds list is a bit surprising since it was only recently released. We suspect the owners have bought one or two EVs before and know what they want. Only about 5,000 have been sold so far, and dealers aren’t always accommodating, but the sixth place to satisfy is impressive.

5. Hyundai Ioniq 5

The fact that Hyundai keeps hitting homes makes it no surprise on this list of the most flattering cars. He also hasn’t been around for a long time. But at least at first, the Ioniq 5 pleases drivers and pleases those of us who see it on the highway or in our neighborhoods. It is great design and competitive price.

4. Ford Maverick Hybrid

If towing and payload capacity fit your needs, there is every reason to expect many satisfied defector owners. And with its standard hybrid system, it satisfies hitting many gas stations with good fuel economy. GM and Ram have their version on hold, hopefully soon.

3. Rivian R1T

This may be the most surprising of the most satisfying list, as everything about the Rivian EV is new, including its manufacturing and workforce. Despite those drawbacks, and with the press praising her, she not only made the list of most satisfying people but came in at number three.

2. Porsche 911

Except for the price, this is totally expected. But those who buy them don’t worry about the mundane things like the cost. They buy it for all the reasons you already know about Porsche and the legacy of the 911. Porsche will always have a car on this list.

1. Chevrolet C8 Corvette

Between the prizes and the price, we’re not surprised to find ourselves on this most flattering list. What’s surprising is that Chevy actually worked out the potential issues on the C8. That’s why, now in its fourth year of production, there are enough owners to add credibility to the #1. Early owners especially must find unsatisfactory things about the Corvette, but this proves the C8 hits on all cylinders.
